As for the actual pros and cons, well...- gameplay is partially automated: your character will hit the ball even if you press nothing, and sometimes when you go for, say, a top spin, you get a slice (or vice versa) for no reason- no risk shots, which were one of my favourite top spin feature; without them gameplay feels repetitive and flat after a few rallies first serve feels powerless even when maxed, so it's easier to win when receiving than serving- pc optimisation is absent: i play on a 4k tv but i'm forced to a max resolution of 1600x900- audio is poor and buggy, it "jumps" everytime one of the players score a point- a loooot of features missingI don't like to be harsh on people, I know making games is a long and hard process and there's a lot more stuff involved to to the simple game develpoment that affects the launch of a game, but i don't cheat on people and when cheated myself I get mad: if this game had been released as a early access game - as it indeed is - , I'd never ever written this review. Please be more respectful of your customers next time.. Can not recommend this game at this stage. The gameplay is not very realistic. And the player abbilities are just random. Federer got 10/10/10 which means, his pretty average and players like Thiem got not the skills they actually have. If you want to run to the other side of the court if you got pushed out you simply can't get there. The player will just hopp around. I was really looking forward to this came and i am really looking forward for improvement.. My player has the stamina of a fat slob going up a flight of stairs. Like seriously! 2 shots in my character is huffing and puffing. And after 2 points? My player is down to about 10% Stamina, this being after I have upgraded him with 9 Defensive Baseline points. Challenges are neigh on impossible because of the game confusing shot types. Serving mechanics are terrible, move your stick about 0.01mm to any direction and the serve is a fault. Don't move it at all and the serve goes straight to the middle. I seriously challenge anyone to get more than 2 aces in the game without getting 20 double faults along the way. In short: Unfinished, Overhyped, piece of garbage that in its current state can't hold a candle to Top spin 4Also: The HUD covers the serve speed counter in almost every stadium I play in. Like what the hell??. It's a decent tennis game. It's the closest game to come close to Top Spin 4, but still not as good. I'm still having fun playing it after setting camera to "far" but it definitely has some bad stuff too.. nothing too game breaking, but it's heavily asking for improvements in a lot of areas to live up to 2018 standards. 1. Movement a bit robotic and not as smooth as top spin.2. Cant customize player faces... you choose from generic faces, you can only change height and clothes... meh.3. Shots needs to go more to where it's aimed at!4. Career mode needs to be a better experience.. this calender stuff is quite boring with the training and stuff.5. Online doesnt even work.I think it's a great game, but it's heavily calling out for Tennis World Tour 2... good start, but not enough. I'm giving it recommended because I like that they are trying to replicate top spin 4, it's very close, but not as good, not enough content.. Pretty poor gameplay. Game is obviously not finished, controls need to be sorted out - they are not consistent. Why are there no help interface available in the realistic setting. I don't want to play shorter versions of the game - but would like the interface in the beginning. Quite disappointed.. This is my first tennis game and i`am very impressed. It is more than a month ago and that is just really bad when they have released a game that isn't even near being 100% finished.This game has potential to be a really good tennis-game but then it needs updates very soon.. Game is running perfectly fine here at 4k resolution.The game is not finished yet and you can feel that.Controls feel a lil chunky, player does not always do the type of hit you pressed...But hey, it's still fun to play.
